What you will doSupport the fast‑growing HVAC business in North America as an HVACMechanic, performing maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Partner with Journeymen to repair centrifugal, steam turbines, and open‑drive screw chillers.
- Conduct system troubleshooting, repair, and aftermarket services for customers.
- Provide solutions, recommendations and quotes for commissioning and aftermarket service, including upselling opportunities.
- Use vibration analysis equipment and dial indicators to troubleshoot and align mechanical components.
- Assist in training programs for HVAC products and sales quoting.
- Member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe‑Fitting Industry or willing to join.
- Minimum 3years of commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in HVAC, including rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers and compressors.
- Experience with mechanical shaft alignment, vibration equipment, and drain‑line troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel 10‑20% to support branch customers.
- Pass a knowledge examination to assess HVAC proficiencies.
- Universal EPA refrigerant license or applicable state/local licensing.
Hourly rate $51‑$59 based on CBA/rate sheet, union benefits, and opportunities for career development, factory certification through the Service Technical Academy, incentive programs, safety focus, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle.
