Position

Purpose:

Monitoringbuilding equipmentforsafety purposesandrepair. Troubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC, mechanical and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions and making recommendations for further action.

• Mustbewilling toworkovertime on weekends,holidays,andafter-hourswhenon call
• Makedailymechanicalcheckonequipmentinthe Mechanical Room ,Roof,HVAC,EMSsystems, refrigerated cases and walk-ins. etc.
• Maintainallrefrigeration,HVAC,EMSsystems, electrical,andmechanicalsystemsandmakenecessaryrepairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections and records required information and maintainsjurisdictionallyapplicablerecords,EPAformsandrequireddocumentationinbothpaperformatstore and electronic in Corrigo and Trakref.
• Monitorspreventivemaintenanceworkdonebyoutsidecontractorsandnotifies Area Refrigeration Manager  of issues or problems with outside contractors.
• Responsiblefortroubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC,mechanicalandelectricalproblems, performingrepairs, documenting solutions and recommending further action.
• Maintainsahightechnicallevel introubleshootingandmaintenanceofmechanicalandelectricalequipment.
• Managecommunicationsforservicecallsinatimelymanner as required.
• Maintaincurrentlicense, inspection,permit,andcertificaterequirementstomeetallstateandlocalcodes.
• OperatesEMSbuilding controlsandautomationsystems.
  
  Finetuneoperatingparameters.
  
  Adjustsetpoints and schedules. Fully understand and modify building control sequences and operates the EMS / BMS systems.
• Performavariety ofadministrativetaskssuchas:orderingmaterial andwritingpurchase orders,anddataentry for work reports and refrigerant leak reports via company supplied electronics.
• Performallduties inatimely,efficient,&professional manner.
• Maintainaneat, cleanandsafeworkareainmechanicalroom,roof,service vehicle, etc.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
  
  Graduat eofbuildingrelated vocational-technical programsarepreferred.

• Minimumofthreeyearsrecent experienceperformingrefrigerationservice,ormaintenanceworkinbuilding related trades.

• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
• Abletoperform dutieswithahighdegree ofaccuracyandcaretoavoidmechanicalbreakdowns.
• Abletorespond todirectandradiorequests assoonas possible.
• Abletomaintain properneatuniform appearance of
