Accutherm Refrigeration is growing and looking for experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians who take pride in their craft, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to be part of a team that values technical excellence. We are looking for professionals who are self-motivated, dependable, technically capable, and committed to delivering quality work. If you're the technician other technicians call when they need help solving a problem, you'll fit right in at Accutherm.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
- Service rooftop units, air handlers, cooling towers, VAV systems, exhaust systems, and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
- Diagnose/Repair commercial HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers professionally
- Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service support
- Opportunity to learn commercial refrigeration
- 1+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- HVAC/R trade school certificate
- West-MEC graduate a plus - EPA Universal Certification
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with commercial HVAC controls and building systems
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work safely in commercial and industrial environments
- Energy management systems and controls
