The Position

We’re looking for a full‑time General Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee electricians at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, the General Foreman will be a key person for the completion of a project. The ideal candidate has a solid background in electrical construction with exceptional leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and a safety‑first mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise field production activities to achieve top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, teamwork, pride, and development of the team.
  • Ensure work is performed according to company standards and project specifications, including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical construction projects.
  • Create a material buy‑out before the job begins.
  • Plan work and labor requirements for the project at least three weeks in advance.
  • Complete as‑built drawings and order materials once a week.
  • File daily reports and report all incidents.
  • Manage all project close‑out processes and budget control, including cost management on the site.
  • Communicate efficiently with the Project Management team and customers/General Contractors.
  • Draft RFIs and submit them to the PM team.
  • Enforce all HR/Company policies, safety policies, and perform disciplinary action with the crew as needed.
  • Enter and approve timecards for the assigned crew.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial/industrial foreman electrical experience.
  • Experience working in data centers and high‑rise projects.
  • Experience leading crews of 20+ employees.
  • Advanced skills reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
  • In‑depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and a solid understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods.
  • Well‑versed in the installation of power systems—lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.
  • Ability to order and track materials, perform job cost projections, and develop as‑built drawings.
  • Proficiency in all construction software as required.
  • Clean background and driving record.
  • Ability to run projects of $5 M and larger.
  • Must be able to reach overhead, lift 75 pounds, and push and pull materials.
  • Must be able to work in various positions—stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, etc.
  • Work is regularly performed outdoors with temperatures exceeding one hundred degrees.
Pay Range

$45‑$50 per Hour
