What You’ll Do
  • Follow maintenance schedules and supervisor direction in alignment with company policies
  • Perform routine repairs and general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plastering)
  • Service and replace heating and cooling systems in compliance with applicable guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Replace lighting and safely complete work in elevated areas
  • Respond promptly to unscheduled maintenance needs and emergency situations
  • Prepare apartments/units for new residents with attention to detail
  • Replenish maintenance supplies and support preventative maintenance programs
  • Identify and report malfunctions, hazards, and defective equipment
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and protocols
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and team members
  • Support additional team needs (drywall, cabinetry, appliances, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous learning

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • HVAC Certification required
  • EPA Certification (Type II, III, or Universal) required or ability to obtain
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance team environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with air conditioning systems
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work safely and independently while supporting a team
Preferred Skills
  • Experience troubleshooting high-pressure refrigeration systems
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC, plumbing, and electrical schematics
  • Versatility across general maintenance tasks (drywall, cabinetry, appliances, etc.)
  • Flexible, team-oriented mindset
Pay Rate

The starting pay rate for this position is $28.00 per hour, with compensation varying based on experience and qualifications.
