Entry Level HVAC​/R Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and guide junior technicians.
• Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations.
• Handle refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Execute preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Maintain proper truck inventory continuously and drive company vehicles safely.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED, plus equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.
• Pass Tech Skills level 2 with an 80% or better.
• Valid EPA certificate.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction HVAC, refrigeration, or related industry with chiller experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, refrigeration equipment and piping, and computer‑controlled systems.
• Ability to read and understand refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to pump down all refrigeration systems and reclaim refrigerant from all types of systems.
• Good communication, presentation skills, and excellent customer service.
• Ability to understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and all applicable State and Federal laws.
• Proficiency with typical business tools including E‑Mail, Word, Excel, etc.
