Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and guide junior technicians.
- Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations.
- Handle refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
- Execute preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
- Maintain proper truck inventory continuously and drive company vehicles safely.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED, plus equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.
- Pass Tech Skills level 2 with an 80% or better.
- Valid EPA certificate.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction HVAC, refrigeration, or related industry with chiller experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, refrigeration equipment and piping, and computer‑controlled systems.
- Ability to read and understand refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to pump down all refrigeration systems and reclaim refrigerant from all types of systems.
- Good communication, presentation skills, and excellent customer service.
- Ability to understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and all applicable State and Federal laws.
- Proficiency with typical business tools including E‑Mail, Word, Excel, etc.
- Competitive compensation: $20.00 to $30.00 DOE.
