Position: FACILITY ENGINEERING/LOW VOLTAGE TECH

Job is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low‑voltage systems such as security cameras, access control, fire alarms, and network cabling. Demonstrates the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Drive independently to stores daily as assigned.
  • Install, configure, and test low‑voltage systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and data cabling.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair wiring, devices, and system components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Pull, terminate, and label cables according to industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service calls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and applicable codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines.
  • Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial truck and aerial lifts safely.
  • Physical demands include high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling, climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, kneeling and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in low‑voltage systems installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary.
