Manhole Rehabilitation & Installation Technician

Full-Time | $20+/Hour DOE
We are currently hiring motivated individuals to join our underground utility rehabilitation and new construction team in the Phoenix, AZ area. This is a full-time position with opportunities for training, advancement, and long-term career growth.
No prior experience in sewer rehabilitation is required — we will train the right candidate. We are looking for dependable team players who are willing to learn, work safely, and support field crews in a fast-paced construction environment.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting field crews with materials, tools, equipment, and PPE to maintain uninterrupted workflow
- Mixing cement and assisting with rehabilitation and construction processes
- Power washing and sand blasting surfaces and equipment
- Monitoring and assisting with job site equipment operations
- Moving debris and materials using hand tools and shovels
- Lifting and removing manhole covers
- Working in and around confined spaces, trenches, and active construction areas
- Serving as a “hole watcher” by monitoring crew members working inside manholes from above ground
- Maintaining visual and verbal communication with crew members during confined space operations
- Monitoring gas detection equipment to ensure safe air quality levels
- Preparing and maintaining safe, clean, and hazard-free work areas
- Working around machinery, equipment, sewage, and other environmental conditions common to underground utility work
- Completing basic paperwork, service records, and safety documentation
- Following all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
- Attending safety meetings and participating in daily jobsite safety practices
- Construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working around confined spaces and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Valid driver’s license preferred

- 40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.
- Sick pay according to state laws
- 401(k) eligible with up to 50% company match on the first 6% after 1 year.
