Sprinkler Service Technician; Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary

SIGN ON BONUS OR RELOCATION AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance on commercial sprinkler systems.

• Receive service calls and document equipment/system malfunctions.
• Contact customer representatives to assess problem areas.
• Perform repairs on sprinkler systems – wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge, and fire pumps.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures, using technical manuals, change notices, bulletins, and other reference documents.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
• Maintain high level of customer service, organization, and positive attitude.
• Work independently and maintain truck inventory for timely response.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

• Minimum 4+ years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair.
• Valid certifications/licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 70 lbs., and work in difficult positions up to 60 feet.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety requirements.
• Preferred: NICET Level II certification.

Hourly rate: $27–$35, commensurate with experience. Position includes a competitive benefits package.
