Concrete Saw Cut & Trench Foreman (Commercial)
Job Type: Full-time Pay: DOE (based on experience)
Work Location:
In person / Commercial job sites (local travel as needed) - Phoenix area
We are hiring a Concrete Saw Cutter & Trenching Foreman to lead a small crew on commercial projects focused on concrete saw cutting, demolition, trenching, and restoration/finishing. The right candidate is safety-driven, dependable, and able to run day-to-day field operations while producing clean, accurate work and keeping the job moving.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew performing concrete saw cutting (flat/hand/wall as applicable) and trenching work on commercial job sites
- Plan daily tasks, coordinate manpower/equipment, and maintain production goals
- Read layout marks/measurements and verify cut lines, trench locations, and depths
- Operate and oversee equipment/tools (saws, breakers, demo tools, vac/water systems, etc.)
- Manage demolition and debris removal/loading/cleanup
- Oversee restoration and finishing after cuts/trenching (patching, edges, surface repair, backfill/compaction, job site cleanup)
- Coordinate with GC/superintendent and other trades to avoid conflicts and keep schedule
- Enforce safety procedures (PPE, silica/dust control, hazard awareness, utility exposure practices)
- Complete daily documentation as required (crew hours, equipment checks, job notes, photos, material use)
- Maintain tools, trailers, and equipment in safe, job-ready condition
Requirements:
- Foreman/lead experience in commercial saw cutting and trenching (demo/restoration experience required)
- 10+ years of concrete experience
- Strong jobsite safety mindset and ability to enforce safe work practices
- Ability to measure accurately and follow layout/instructions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work in outdoor conditions (heat/cold/dust/noise)
- Professional communication skills with crew, customers, and jobsite leadership
- Preferred OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, silica awareness, trench safety/competent person training
- Experience with core drilling, wall sawing, slurry management, traffic control set-ups
- Experience operating skid steer/mini-excavator
