About This RoleWe are seeking a few talented HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This full‑time position involves maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
What You'll Do- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps. Clean coils, replace belts and filters, check refrigerant levels, lubricate motors, replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, etc.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to note issues before they become major.
- Report findings to service teams or the customer.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
- 1+ year of experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- EPA 608 certification (required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- NATE certification.
- RMGA certification.
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
