Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial HVACR systems, including light and heavy commercial equipment.
- Repair and support centrifugal, steam turbine, and open‑drive screw chiller systems.
- Perform installation, commissioning, and after‑sales services, providing customers with solutions and upsell recommendations.
- Write and communicate customer problem descriptions, causes, and corrective actions.
- Provide quotes and participate in the Service Plus Rewards program.
- Collaborate with Journeymen, Servicemen, and apprentices in the local market.
- Participate in training programs to expand product and sales knowledge.
- Member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen & Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UAPPI).
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience, including rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing.
- Experience performing mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators and vibration equipment troubleshooting.
- Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license; EPA refrigerant license and applicable state/local licensing required.
- Travel 10–20% as required to support branch customers.
Pay range: $51–59 hourly based on the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
