Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of critical building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $25-$28hr

Shift: 1st
-6am- 2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems including Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and monitor repairs to ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Record readings, make adjustments, and calibrate equipment to maintain optimal performance levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, including hazardous materials handling and workplace safety standards.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, monitor work quality, and manage inventory of tools and instruments.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • EPA 608 Type II Certification; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems effectively.
