Chapman Mazda Phoenix is seeking an experienced Mazda Service Technician to join our team. Our technicians are committed to keeping customers' vehicles performing at their best by delivering high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using genuine Mazda parts in a climate-controlled shop. Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings with recommended maintenance or repairs.
- Communicate additional repair needs and estimated completion times to the Service Advisor.
- Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Perform warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and ensure quality workmanship.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and productive service department.
- Mazda/ASE certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mainline automotive technician required
- Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repair
- Must provide your own tools and toolbox
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, computer, and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical demands of the job
- Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
