Civil Construction Carpenter

DBA Construction is seeking Carpenters for multiple projects located near Phoenix, AZ.

• Construct safety handrails, hole protection, steps, gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Saw, strip, nail, burn, measure, tighten/loosen bolts, drill and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Concrete carpentry: execute concrete forming and form system installation, placement of concrete for foundation footings, grade beams, column and wall formwork (gang, stick, slip forms), set anchor bolt and rebar templates, erect temporary handrails and walk planks, perform sawing, stripping and other duties as assigned.

• At least 3 years of construction experience, ability to read basic drawings and trained in safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platforms).
• Provide primary support to field supervision, demonstrate ownership of tasks, maintain professionalism and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Agile/mobile, alert, able to stand/walk for long periods, use fingers/hands/arms to reach and manipulate objects, climb ladders and scaffolds, work on uneven surfaces/heights, have reading/writing ability, good vision and hearing with/without correction.
• Lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs 75% of the time.
• Work in OSHA‑compliant environment, outdoors, willing to work overtime and weekend hours, punctual and prompt daily.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Provide valid I‑9 immigration documents.
• Attention to detail and follow directions.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Have own transportation to various work sites within Arizona.
• Have own finishing tools, nail bags, and tools for forming and finishing.
• Steel boots required.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures.

Salary: $28 – $35 per hour
