Clean Harbors is seeking Traveling HAZMAT General Laborers to join their Emergency Response team in Phoenix, AZ. These individuals will be active in the field, performing hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and equipment decontamination. The ideal candidates are safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to travel for emergency response projects across the United States.

• Competitive starting pay: $20-$23/hr

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and powered industrial tools
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including confined spaces and at elevations
• Ability to wear and properly use a variety of PPE, including respirators
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical (as required)
• Compliance with OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard regarding facial hair

• Previous relevant labor experience
