Data Center Cable Technician
TEKsystems is looking for Data Center Cable Technicians for one of our clients. In this role you will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber-optic cabling systems in commercial, industrial, and data center environments. This role requires strong hands-on fiber expertise, the ability to work independently, and adherence to industry standards, safety practices, and project documentation requirements.
Perform fiber termination using mechanical, fusion splice, and pre-terminated solutions. Install and dress fiber enclosures, splice trays, patch panels, cassettes, and LIUs. Build out and cable equipment racks, cabinets, ladder racks, and pathway systems. Maintain proper bend radius, cable management, and grounding standards.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
