Overhead Crane Technician
We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting overhead cranes and hoists. The role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities, supporting customers by interfacing effectively with them, and evaluating required repairs. The technician will ensure quality installations, conduct OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, and maintain detailed documentation of service and installation actions.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Interface with customers and office to repair equipment as needed.
- Evaluate and recommend repairs for customers.
- Maintain rapport with customers by identifying solutions and suggesting improvements.
- Perform quality installations and inspections, troubleshoot breakdowns, and respond to repair calls.
- Complete forms, reports, and inspection checklists to document service actions.
- Maintain good response time and inform customers of problems.
- Ensure professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization.
Essential Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems.
- Electro-mechanical expertise.
- Experience with heavy equipment diagnostics and repair.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
- Clean driving record.
- Proficiency in welding.
- Ability to work at heights above 25 feet.

Work Environment
This role requires extensive travel within Arizona, with regular hours from 7 am to 5 pm, along with some extended hours and weekends. Technicians will be on call as needed. The work environment varies depending on the type of manufacturing company, primarily focusing on overhead cranes.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Medical, Dental, vision, Life insurance, 401K, PTO

This is a fully remote position.
