Data Network Telecom Technician

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire — candidates must be eligible and interested in converting to permanent full-time employment.

Sun Sof t Online is seeking a Data Network Telecom Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with an Arizona state agency in Phoenix. This hands‑on role installs, repairs, splices, tests, and terminates copper, fiber, and coax cabling; installs and maintains network and communications equipment (routers, switches, video systems, security and access‑control equipment, public address systems); and schedules and coordinates installation, repair, and preventative maintenance projects with vendors, contractors, and agency units, including oversight of contractor resources on site.

• 4+ years of Cable Technician experience installing and maintaining digital computer systems and peripheral equipment or telephone station equipment and related systems, or
• 2+ years as a Lead Cable Technician
• (Technical training in electronics, telecommunications, or digital systems from an accredited program may substitute for one year of experience)

• BICSI certification

• Local to Phoenix; current city must be listed on resume
• 100% onsite; in‑person interview within 1 week of posting close; start within 2 weeks of offer
• Must be eligible to convert to FTE; W2 only, US Citizens and Green Card holders (no sponsorship)
