Fire Suppression Service Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

THIS POSITION WILL BE IN MORENCI, AZ.

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install a variety of manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products.
• Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazard systems.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
• Inspect customer systems, using smart phone and other equipment; may include government work.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Preferred:
  Manufacturer certifications (ANSUL, Kiddie Pyro Chem) and local/state license if required.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21-27 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package.
