Position: Shop Service Technician – 2nd shift –

Job Summary

Process customer supplied materials according to pre‑determined procedures and manufacturing details. Mechanical aptitude is a plus. The position is a full‑time hourly role with availability on the 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am). It requires the ability to work overtime, which may include arriving early or working on normally scheduled days off.

Requirements

Must skillfully and safely utilize the following tools and equipment:

  • wrenches / adjustable wrenches
  • screwdrivers
  • electric drill / screw gun
  • electric shears
  • bench grinder
  • band saw
  • clamps
  • cranes / ropes
  • slings
  • chains
  • DC power supply (stationary / portable)
  • pressurized air / blow‑off guns
  • electric / pneumatic pumps
  • electric / pneumatic palm sanders
  • electric / pneumatic angle grinder
  • pneumatic die grinder
  • pressure washers

Trade school certificate is a plus; alternatively, at least one year of experience in mechanic, maintenance, electrical or carpentry field is required.

Physical abilities needed include:

  • stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb
  • reach above and below shoulder height
  • fine finger manipulation
Working Hours and Compensation

Full‑time hourly position on 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am). Starting wage: $18.00 per hour, plus $0.50 shift differential.
