Responsibilities- Perform prewire and/or trim installations for residential low-voltage systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot residential security systems.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete residential installations and service calls.
- Operate testing equipment including volt meters, multimeters, and wire toners.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and homeowners.
- Strong background in electronics, low-voltage integration, or a solid work history with an established audio/video or low-voltage contractor.
- Working knowledge of residential security systems.
- Experience installing and servicing both small and large residential systems.
- Experience with new alarm system installations, service calls, monitoring setup, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with DSC, Honeywell, and Interlogix security systems is .
- Must own basic hand tools.
- Basic knowledge of audio, video, and home alarm systems.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
