Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Pipefitter to support the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of process piping and facility utility systems within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

This position is responsible for installing and assembling piping systems used for chemicals, gases, water, wastewater, compressed air, and other process and facility utilities. The Pipefitter will interpret drawings and specifications, measure and fabricate piping components, install supports and equipment connections, and help ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with industrial or semiconductor process piping, mechanical systems, pipe fabrication, installation, testing, and construction‑site safety. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with supervisors, engineers, welders, technicians, subcontractors, and other construction trades.

Key Responsibilities Process Piping Installation

Install, assemble, modify, and repair process piping and facility utility systems within an active semiconductor construction environment.

Work with piping systems supporting chemicals, bulk gases, specialty gases, ultrapure water, wastewater, compressed air, process cooling water, exhaust, and other facility utilities.

Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, fit, align, and assemble piping according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Install valves, regulators, pumps, filters, fittings, flanges, gauges, supports, hangers, brackets, and related piping components.

Prepare piping joints and components for welding, brazing, threading, compression fittings, mechanical connections, or other approved joining methods.

Install and align piping connections to equipment, skids, tanks, pumps, chemical cabinets, valve boxes, and process tools.

Verify proper pipe slope, elevation, routing, alignment, spacing, and support installation.

Assist with the installation of single‑wall and double‑contained piping systems when required.

Perform field measurements and identify routing or installation conflicts before work begins.

Drawing Review & Layout

Read and interpret construction drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometric drawings, spool drawings, specifications, and equipment layouts.

Lay out piping routes and installation locations based on approved drawings and field conditions.

Identify drawing discrepancies, clashes, missing information, and constructability concerns.

Communicate field conditions and required changes to supervisors, engineers, and project management.

Assist with drawing markups, redlines, as‑built documentation, and verification of completed work.

Ensure piping installations match approved project documents and system requirements.

Assist with pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, cleaning, purging, and commissioning of installed piping systems.

Inspect completed piping work for proper alignment, support, labeling, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.

Identify leaks, damaged components, improper connections, or installation deficiencies and complete required corrections.

Support system walkdowns, punch‑list activities, inspections, turnover, and final acceptance.

Assist with equipment startup and system commissioning activities as directed.

Maintain accurate records of testing, completed installations, system changes, and inspection results.
