Your Role as a Pipefitter Trade SuperintendentYou will oversee, plan, and execute pipe fitting and pipe welding projects across various commercial and industrial sectors. You will manage field crews, coordinate with CAD detailing and pipe weld shop teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage pipe fitting field crews, CAD detailing teams, and the pipe weld shop to ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan, schedule, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship by ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Monitor job costs, labor efficiency, and material usage to optimize profitability.
- Uphold a strong culture of safety by enforcing company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to support business growth and repeat opportunities.
- Quickly identify and resolve field challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Arizona Journeyman License (current)
- 7+ years of verifiable experience as a Commercial Pipefitter Superintendent (hotels, office buildings, hospitals, casinos, etc.)
- Proven leadership ability to manage multiple teams and projects
- Strong organizational skills to oversee scheduling, staffing, and project coordination
- Technical proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word
- CAD/BIM collaboration experience
- Ability to identify and implement prefabrication opportunities
- Excellent communication skills to lead, train, and mentor employees
- A clean driving record (5+ years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
