Job Description & How to Apply Below
For 20 years, ASE (All Systems Electrical) has delivered conveyor and industrial controls projects across the U.S. We specialize in electrical installation and controls for Fed Ex, Amazon, UPS, and other material handling systems. We’re growing our long-term field team — not staffing a one-off job — with steady work from project to project and no seasonal layoffs.
A day in the life
As a traveling industrial electrician, you’ll arrive on-site ready to transform a distribution center. You’ll bend and install EMT and rigid conduit, pull and land power and control conductors, set up VFDs, align sensors and photo eyes, complete motor terminations, and bring systems online using electrical drawings. You’ll rotate through projects nationwide and fly home every 3–4 weeks.
What you’ll tackle
Install EMT/rigid conduit with clean bends and precise supports
Run, label, and terminate control wiring for conveyor equipment
Complete motor terminations and verify rotation
Mount, wire, and commission VFDs, sensors, and photo eyes
Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings
Collaborate with project leads to keep schedules on track
Conveyor experience is a plus, but not required.
What you bring
Solid industrial electrical background
Hands-on electrical installation and troubleshooting skills
Experience installing electrical panels
Comfort reading electrical schematics and drawings
Fluency with control wiring, motor terminations, and device setup (VFDs, sensors, photo eyes)
What you’ll get $38–$70/hr DOEPlenty of overtime $150+/day per diem Flights, mileage, hotels, and all travel expenses covered
Flights home every 3–4 weeks
Steady, year-round work Clear paths to Lead, Foreman, Commissioning, or PM roles
Why ASEUnlike many contractors, we bring everything under one roof — our own UL508A panel shop, engineering, programming, service, and field installation teams. The people managing these projects came up through the trade and understand life on the road.
