Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Tire Technician. Tire Techs manage and maintain heavy‑du‑ty tires, use tire machines, and ensure equipment is in optimal condition. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience in tire handling and repair, and can work independently in various outdoor conditions.

South Yard – 2225 W Lower Buckeye Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85043

• Starting pay: $21.41 per hour (position subject to collective bargaining agreement payscale)

• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs. accrued monthly

• Inspect tires on transit vehicles and repair as needed.
• Use equipment to remove, replace, balance, re‑groove and repair tires safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of stock.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of heavy‑du‑ty tire repair experience.
• Knowledge of tire maintenance and repairs required.
• Experience with tire machines, regroove, balance, and related equipment.
• Valid Class B Arizona driver’s license with passenger endorsement and excellent motor vehicle record.
• Current DOT certification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical.

• Transfer up to 36 lbs for 20 ft and push‑pull up to 22 lbs.
• Climb stairs and walk up 2,640 ft per hour.
• Tolerate heights up to 41 inches.
• Work may include sitting, standing, exposure to weather, moderate to loud noise, vibrations, fumes or airborne particles.
