Electrician
This role focuses on performing electrical renovations and retrofits on industrial and commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on high-voltage systems and conduit work. You will install and maintain 480V 3-phase power systems, interpret blueprints, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex electrical installations across multiple project sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical renovations and retrofits on industrial and commercial projects, ensuring all work meets applicable codes and safety standards.
- Run and bend conduit from 3/4" to 4" using EMT and RIGID, maintaining clean, precise, and code-compliant installations.
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot 480V 3-phase power systems for a variety of equipment and infrastructure.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings to plan, layout, and execute installations accurately.
- Coordinate with project teams on site to ensure electrical work aligns with overall construction schedules and requirements.
- Assist with training and mentoring apprentices by demonstrating proper techniques and reinforcing safety and quality standards.
- Adapt to changing project needs, including traveling to different job sites and working occasional overtime when required.
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all safety procedures, including proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 years of experience working as an Electrician on industrial and/or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in running and bending conduit up to 4" using EMT and RIGID.
- Demonstrated experience installing and working with 480V 3-phase power systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and associated safety practices.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different project locations as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in data centers is preferred.
- Previous experience on large-scale industrial or commercial projects is an asset.
- Ability to train, guide, and support apprentices on site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced construction environments.

Work Environment
You will primarily work on a data center site in South Phoenix, starting between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for a standard 40-hour work week, with the potential for overtime based on project needs. Saturdays may be available as optional work depending on workload. The role involves hands-on field work in an industrial and commercial construction environment, including high-voltage installations and extensive conduit work.
Future projects are planned in locations such as Tucson and Flagstaff, and you may travel for a few days at a time to support these sites. Travel expenses and lodging for out-of-town assignments are covered. The work setting emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professionalism while operating on active construction sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $42.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
