The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at APEL Extrusions Limited in Phoenix, AZ. In this position, the technician performs daily equipment inspections, routine servicing, and corrective repairs on production machinery and facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and collaborating with production teams to prioritize and complete work orders.

The technician will document maintenance activities, follow safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting equipment upgrades and process improvements. This position requires working hands-on in a manufacturing environment, responding to equipment failures, and supporting shift coverage as needed.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for manufacturing and facility systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Candidates should possess experience with Preventive Maintenance practices to plan and execute routine service schedules.
• Relevant skills such as reading technical drawings, using diagnostic tools, and working with basic electrical and mechanical systems.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, particularly metals or extrusion, is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or related fields is an asset.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
