Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are actively searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Apartment Maintenance Technician to join the CVG Properties team in North Phoenix working at The Enclave at Paradise Valley Apartments. As a community maintenance team member, you will prepare vacant apartments for new residents, respond to and complete resident requests for maintenance and demonstrate a high-level of customer service at all times. The Maintenance Supervisor/Technician will work to ensure the community meets all safety standards, site appearance standards and that all apartments, equipment and amenities are maintained in good working order.

Must be available full time and able to handle shared on call emergencies and responsibilities.

Skills required:

trouble shoot and repair electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, blinds, ceiling fans, windows, locks, roofing, A/C and heat repair, pool/spa maintenance. Able to work within a team environment, complete turns, and work order requests in a timely manner. Other maintenance related job duties as assigned by the property manager and maintenance supervisor, plus participate in all mandatory training.

Successful candidates must have at least one year experience apartment maintenance/property management. HVAC experience, high school diploma or GED. Must be able to read/write English, and accurately complete on-call and site inspection logs, service requests, pool logs and maintenance checklists in a timely manner. Knowledge of working safely with power tools and electricity and general knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to the community (i.e. Freon recovery, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools), understand and abide by Fair Housing laws.
