We’re hiring a Field Technician in Phoenix, AZ!
Cartken is looking for a hands‑on, proactive Field Technician to join our team and support our growing autonomous robot fleet across the Greater Phoenix area.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with robotics, troubleshooting technical issues, and taking ownership in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
What you’ll be doing :- Support day-to-day robot operations at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and connectivity issues onsite and remotely
- Support robot production, assembly, and testing at our Phoenix manufacturing HQ
- Perform repairs, upgrades, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Monitor fleet health and robot performance
- Support new customer deployments and robot launches
- Maintain spare parts and service inventory
- Work closely with customers and our Operations and Engineering teams
- Document maintenance activities, incidents, and technical findings
- 3+ years of field service, robotics, automation, mechatronics, or related technical experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve problems
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend support as operational needs require
Experience with autonomous systems, industrial automation, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is a plus.
