Mobile

Diesel/Forklift Technician – Phoenix, AZ

This is NOT a forklift operator position. This is a Mobile Technician role focused on heavy duty truck and forklift repair and maintenance.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of trucks, forklifts, and heavy equipment (gas, diesel, and electric)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety
  • Conduct inspections and tests to proactively identify potential issues before they escal
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
  • Respond to service calls for both shop and field repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in forklift and material handling technology
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certification in mechanics preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a forklift mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided for field work)
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Must supply own tools (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • OEM certifications (Toyota, Hyster, Crown, Cummins, Detroit, etc.)
  • ASE or equivalent mechanical certifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
