Role DescriptionThe Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial HVAC systems, including diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting equipment, completing service calls, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommendations.
The technician will follow company and industry safety standards, coordinate with team members and supervisors, and help maintain tools, vehicles, and inventory in good working order.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Experience in maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance for heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, with clear communication and professional service on every call.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants and adherence to all applicable environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and related mechanical components; ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Understanding of safety practices, including OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites in and around Phoenix, AZ.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience in HVAC service; experience in federal or commercial projects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable time management and organizational skills.
