As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Commercial door maintenance skills
- Specific past experience in either electrical or plumbing
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Trade school preferred.
- Forklift and safety certifications would be a plus.
- 5 years of experience with commercial or residential multi-family experience.
- 1–2 years of job-related experience (per role requirements; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of diploma).
Physical Requirements
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Client-facing role.
- Mostly independent work with some teamwork.
- Background package: CBRE Safety Specific — with drug screen.
- Interview process: 1st round phone screen, 2nd round virtual (Teams).
