Maintenance Technician III

Marriott is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to support safe, reliable operations at our hotel. In this on-site role, you'll perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. You'll troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, support emergency repairs, and uphold safety and brand standards. Collaborating with hotel teams, you will help ensure an exceptional guest experience while benefiting from Marriott's training, stability, and long-term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and fixtures to minimize downtime and ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance logs accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with emergency repairs and on-call support, adhering to safety and building codes.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Monitor and maintain tools, parts inventory, and equipment in good working condition.
• Support minor carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep projects.
• Follow Marriott brand, safety, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
• Mentor junior maintenance staff and share best practices.
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff regarding maintenance status and timelines.
