Journeyman Carpenter

Diamond West Construction, LLC. is a reputable and growing construction company specializing in residential/commercial/industrial projects throughout the Arizona. We're committed to high-quality work, safety, and a strong team culture. We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Journeyman Carpenter to join our crew.

The Journeyman Carpenter will be responsible for performing skilled labor in various aspects of construction, including but not limited to framing, drywall, finish work, concrete, and basic site preparation. This role requires a solid understanding of construction practices, the ability to work independently and with a team, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.



Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications
• Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with supervising apprentices and laborers as needed
• Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Communicate with foremen, project managers, and other team members effectively

• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction or related trade
• Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (will provide training if needed)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Work may be performed outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods
