Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with routine and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Your role includes troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using standard diagnostic tools, maintaining accurate inventory of tools and parts, and performing preventive maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule. You will ensure equipment operates within safety and quality parameters, follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols, and maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
Additionally, you will support machine installation, relocation, or decommissioning, and respond to work orders efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using standard diagnostic tools.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment to perform repairs or preventive maintenance.
- Replace or repair defective components.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to maintenance schedule.
- Ensure equipment operates within safety and quality parameters.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), safety protocols, and PPE guidelines at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Support machine installation, relocation, or decommissioning as needed.
- Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Possibly work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Technicians are expected to bring their own tools and equipment required to perform maintenance duties; tools are not provided by the company.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of hands-on mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Comfortable working in hot, noisy, or physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and repair.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.

Work EnvironmentThe role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift over 100lbs with assistance. The work environment is a manufacturing/industrial setting where safety protocols are strictly followed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
