Cool Sys, a leader in sustainable HVACR solutions, is seeking an Electrical Foreman for our Engineering & Maintenance department. You will lead electrical projects supporting HVAC wholesale operations, oversee installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, and ensure safety, code compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, coordinating schedules, reading plans, and collaborating with engineering and service teams. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity.
  • Plan, layout, and coordinate installation of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, switch gear, and lighting.
  • Interpret and review blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications to ensure work complies with design and code requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to sequence work and resolve field conflicts.
  • Enforce OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections on the jobsite.
  • Perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of commercial electrical systems supporting HVACR and building equipment.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, code compliance, and adherence to project schedule and budget.
  • Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment, minimizing waste and ensuring timely availability on site.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeyman electricians, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Document daily job progress, manpower, and issues; communicate updates and risks to project management.
