HVAC Technician
Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team. As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $33-36/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm & 2-10pm OR 12-8pm swing- on call every 4 weeks
What's the Job?
- Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and associated electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of building systems, adhering to all relevant codes, laws, and safety standards.
- Evaluate, train, and coach a team of Lead Engineers, Facility Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians as directed by supervisors.
- Recognize, assess, and mitigate risks associated with energized work, working at heights, and confined spaces, utilizing proper PPE and safety practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, maintaining service quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What's Needed?
- Comprehensive knowledge of safe work practices, especially regarding energized work, working at heights, and confined spaces.
- Hands-on skills and experience in repairing and maintaining HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to evaluate, train, and coach team members effectively.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to building systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with clients and team members professionally.
