Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Commercial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial buildings and facilities throughout an assigned service area. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general building maintenance while delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring facilities remain safe and operational.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Trade certification, technical training, or related education in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, or maintenance preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 2-5 years of commercial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building trades experience
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including HVAC equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
  • Ability to use mobile devices, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications

Job Duties

  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial properties
  • Complete plumbing repairs including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures
  • Conduct minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and bulbs
  • Perform painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry work
  • Complete building, equipment, and asset inspections
  • Update work orders, service reports, and inspection documentation using company technology
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent service
  • Order and obtain needed materials and supplies
  • Follow all safety procedures and attend required training meetings
  • Provide repair and project estimates when needed
  • Travel locally between customer locations using a company-provided vehicle

Physical Capabilities

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb
  • Regularly use hands and arms to handle tools and equipment
  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely work around mechanical equipment and electrical systems

What You Will Do
