Field Installer – Ornamental & Light Structural Steel

Location:

Phoenix, AZ

Full-Time | Hourly Pay (DOE)

Are you a skilled Field Installer with experience in ornamental and light structural steel? Join our dynamic and expanding fabrication and erection company in Phoenix, AZ, where we specialize in commercial fencing, park structures, automatic gates, and custom metalwork. Our reputation in the Phoenix Metro area continues to grow — and we want you to be part of it!

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of field installation experience in steel-related projects.
  • Certified Welder – active certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of installing stairs, balcony rails, Ramadas, canopies, trellises, fences, and gates.
  • Proficient in rigging, unloading, and securing steel materials.
  • Skilled in machinery operation, including bobcats, reach forks, and augers.
  • Familiar with OSHA standards and PPE safety best practices.
  • Ability to manage project timelines and detailed daily logs.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and coordination with team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute safe and precise installation of steel structures and components.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned installations from start to finish.
  • Ensure job site safety and OSHA compliance at all times.
  • Maintain clear documentation and daily project logs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Attend client meetings and provide professional communication on-site.
  • Quickly identify and report delays or issues to management.

    Support logistics including loading/unloading and transport prep of materials.
