Position Summary
Prizm Electrical Solutions, Inc. is hiring a National Traveling Electrical Foreman to join our team in Phoenix, AZ
. This position leads an electrical crew on commercial and industrial construction sites across the United States, ensuring high‑quality installations and safety compliance.
Prizm is a Colorado‑based electrical design‑build contractor specializing in heavy commercial, industrial, water/wastewater, data center, electrical service, and maintenance projects. Our expertise enables innovative construction methods and value engineering.
Job Responsibilities- Manage a crew of 6–35 journeymen and apprentices.
- Plan daily tasks and production schedules.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to quality‑plan electrical installations.
- Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and low‑voltage control systems and related devices.
- Arrange and coordinate safety meetings.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members.
- Act as point of contact with the general contractor's site superintendent.
- Supervise and train apprentices on the job.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines, OSHA safety requirements, and reporting violations.
- Conduct daily quality control and assurance program.
- Perform daily safety inspections.
- Control inventory on truck, jobsite, and in/out of stock.
- Organize and maintain material lists for your crew.
- Coordinate project‑specific company tool procurement and replacement.
- Inspect tasks upon completion and ensure work areas are clean.
- Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid state license that permits you to practice as a journeyman electrician at job site locations.
- 4–5 years of supervisory experience.
- Training in Microsoft Suites such as Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Appropriate certificates or degrees are advantageous.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Active listener with top‑notch verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently works on manlifts, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Work environment varies, including natural ambient conditions, confined areas, ditches, or other uncomfortable places.
- Operates construction equipment, including forklifts, backhoes, and cargo trucks.
- Work weeks are typically over 40 hours with project‑specific overtime as needed.

PayFull‑time position: $40.00 – $52.00 per hour.
