Join Skyline Mechanical as a Commercial HVACR Field Service Specialist
Picture starting your day with a fully equipped service truck and a schedule that takes you to a variety of commercial facilities across the Valley. You’ll inspect and tune systems, respond to service calls, and restore comfort and reliability for our customers—often in a single visit.
Skyline Mechanical is family owned and has been in the valley for 40+ years. We take pride in the work and services we provide to our clients, and we’re seeking a technician who shares that pride and craftsmanship.
What a typical day looks like- Diagnose and resolve issues on commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
- Partner with property maintenance teams to quickly address system concerns.
- Document findings, work performed, and materials used in our digital/mobile platform—no handwritten work orders.
- Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cooling towers and central plant systems
- Chillers and chilled water pumps
- Ductless/mini-split systems
- 10–50 ton rooftop and split systems
- Built-up systems and a range of commercial building controls and equipment
- Experience with central plants and chilled water systems is a significant advantage.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability for complex system issues.
- Capability to support property maintenance related to HVAC installations.
- Clear, professional communication with clients and teammates.
- Nice-to-have: skills in plumbing, welding, and refrigeration practices.
This is a permanent, full-time position (not seasonal). Compensation is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
