The company also operates a trucking fleet capable of hauling heavy equipment and machinery with payloads up to 40 tons using cranes with significant lifting capacity and reach.
This is a full-time role working in Arizona and the Southwest. The Installation Technician will install, maintain, and repair temporary backflow devices, hydrants, HDPE piping, and related bypass equipment according to company standards and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include performing site assessments, preparing materials and tools, executing installations and removals, and assisting with pump watch and specialized labor tasks as needed. The role involves coordinating with team members and customers to ensure accurate, efficient setup and takedown of equipment, documenting work performed, and supporting certification processes.
The Installation Technician will also help load, unload, and secure equipment for transport, and may assist with basic troubleshooting of mechanical and cabling issues in the field.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and basic mechanical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and resolve installation or equipment issues safely.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers, crews, and supervisors.
- Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Satisfaction, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with client requirements.
- Candidates should possess practical Cabling and equipment handling skills, including safe setup, routing, and securing of hoses, cables, and related components.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; experience with construction, utilities, or pumping systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, lift and move heavy equipment, and follow OSHA and company safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in plumbing, backflow, or related trades are a plus.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a field team.
