Multifamily maintenance tech

KPM is looking for a reliable and skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our multifamily residential properties. This role requires a hands‑on approach, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent resident service.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready processes
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues
• Maintain maintenance tools and inventory materials
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure property standards are upheld
• Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or similar field preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call as required
