• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate heavy pipeline excavation equipment and large trucks
• Ability to read and interpret company policies, O&M manuals, and blueprints
• Valid CDL driver license (or ability to acquire and maintain)
• Ability to respond to emergency or after-hours calls
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to work outdoors, on uneven ground, and in adverse weather
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 lbs; exert up to 100 lbs of physical force
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, twist, climb, and work from heights or confined spaces
• Must live or relocate within 60 miles of reporting location by position start date
• Pre-employment and post-employment drug testing and motor vehicle record checks required

• Two or more years of experience in all phases of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair
• Experience operating and maintaining heavy excavation equipment (hydrovac truck, backhoe, track hoe, side boom, dozer, maintainer)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and DOT pipeline regulations
