Job Summary:Responsible for reading blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required. Identify all tools required for tasks and identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as rules and conduit benders, Chicago Benders, Dual trigger bandsaws
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure will build closets (Mount and install backboards). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure Ability to fabricate and install rigid & aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond, and P.V.C. conduit
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure Ability to use mechanical benders; use hydraulic benders 1 1/2” – 4”; fabricate and install conduit supports
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure will assume responsibility for effective performance of crew and provide necessary training, coordinate personnel and timeline to complete project.
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure will fully complete all IES paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure will adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
• The Technician I
  - Infrastructure will complete other responsibilities as assigned.
