In the position, you will work out in the community. Locations we serve throughout Maricopa County include Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Buckeye, Gilbert, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Mesa, Apache Junction, etc. We work around your availability and schedule!

Organization description:

We are an organization that seeks to support and provide effective services that restore and rebuild youth and their families with the ability to achieve their goals in a natural environment. Our team specializes in behavior modification where we provide an array of tools and techniques for our members to implement throughout their lives.

All of our team members (employees) go through a New Hire Orientation to learn our organization's mission, practices and philosophies. As a Direct Support Provider (DSP), you can either work with one (1) member (behavior coaching or mentoring) and/or in a group setting (New Hope of Arizona residential setting) depending on your preference and availability.

Job Details:
  • This position is out in the community and are typically provided within the member's home, placement(s), school settings, and/or out in the community; whichever is the most appropriate setting.
  • This is a great opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in the Behavioral Health Field and work directly with children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • You have the ability to work a flexible schedule based off your availability.
  • You will have the ability to learn how to work with various diagnoses such as Autism, Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, etc.
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with members and provide tools and techniques to assist members with behavior modification.
  • Provide treatment that promotes independence for our members to be successful in their natural living environments.
  • Supporting the member and family dynamics.
  • Promote natural resources our members and family can utilize around their living environments.
