Description
Devereux Arizona’s Community Based Services are designed to provide rapid, intensive, in-home support in the critical days/weeks following a crisis. Services include in-home support, crisis and safety planning, family support and coaching, behavior management, and coordinating with community supports. We are looking for individuals with experience in behavioral health, with families and at-risk youth, to be a positive role model and have an impact on our families.
Family (Crisis) Support Coordinator works one-to-one with youth ages 2-17 in settings such as home, school, group home, foster care, or kinship placement. Staff handle a caseload of 3-5 individuals, teaching essential life and emotional regulation skills, behavior reduction, anger management, coping with trauma-related behaviors, and communication techniques to help youth succeed at home, in school and in the community. Other duties include working with the Child/Family Team, intakes, case management, and chart maintenance/documentation.
We provide mileage reimbursement, work equipment (phone and laptop), and a work schedule based on the needs of the individual/family.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.10 / hr
Full Time and Part Time Schedules:
Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday; ability to work afternoons/nights (as late as 8:30pm)
Ability to commute throughout Maricopa County utilizing your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement);
Extra coverage needed for the West Valley and East Valley/Mesa areas

Qualifications
Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalency;
Bachelor's degree preferredHigh school diploma or equivalency with at least four (4) years of full-time behavioral health work experience; OR
High school diploma or equivalency with a combination of education in a related field and full-time behavioral health work experience totaling at least two (2) years; OR
Associate's degree and at least two (2) years of full-time behavioral health work experience; OR
Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of full-time behavioral health work experience
Ability to commute throughout Maricopa County utilizing your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement);
Extra coverage needed for the West Valley and East Valley/Mesa areas
OTHER:
Must be available to attend two (2) weeks of new hire orientation (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training
Must be at least 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
Drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results
