Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full‑time Direct Support Team Supervisor in Maricopa County.
The Direct Support Team Supervisor is the perfect position for a determined social worker or behavioral health professional looking for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity supervising teams that support young people to overcome challenges and recognize their potential.
This role is a unique blend of program leadership and clinical work, allowing professionals who prefer to remain anchored in working with families to also expand their leadership abilities.
Job Responsibilities- Provide assessment and create unique interventions to support young people to experience a sense of normalcy and community life.
- Build positive connections with children and adults, work in a strength‑based and family‑centered manner, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Effectively communicate with families, Child and Family Teams members (stakeholders, therapists, case managers, etc.) and agency management.
- Familiarity with Child and Family Teams and provide clinical supervision. Candidates should have experience as a Care Coordinator, Intensive Case Manager, Clinical Liaison, Supervisor, or Team Lead in home and community‑based support services.
- Facilitate team meetings, conduct family intakes, write assessments/support plans, measure progress and outcomes, promote employee development, and evaluate performance.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling, drive throughout the county, and work within families’ homes and communities; requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation and perform other duties related to the position.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of five (5) years related work experience or a Related Bachelor’s degree.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) required.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License with an acceptable 39‑month driving record.
- Reliable transportation, including proof of insurance.
- Candidate must submit a negative drug test.
- Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training.
