Camelback Derm and Skin Surgery – Phoenix, AZ 85018
Position Type:
Full Time

Responsibilities
  • Assist with high call volume
  • Maintain physicians' schedules for office visits and procedures (phone or face-to‑face)
  • View patient visit notes, identify problems, diagnoses and physician orders
  • Assist in patient registration and financial transactions
  • Schedule radiology/lab as needed
  • Include recall scheduling as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum two to three years of experience in a medical office
  • Prior medical scheduling experience required
  • Dermatology experience preferred
  • Prior experience with Mohs strongly preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented
  • Basic understanding of healthcare plans and medical benefits
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license

Equipment Operated

Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Physical Requirements

Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computers and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals.
